Calf Liver and Bacon Kabobs

Recipe: Calf Liver and Bacon Kabobs

  • 2 pounds calf liver
  • ½ pound bacon
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 1 cup dry bread crumbs
  1. Cut bacon and liver into 1-inch pieces
  2. Fry bacon a couple minutes
  3. Alternate bacon and liver pieces on skewers.
  4. Brush skewers with butter and roll in bread crumbs.
  5. Smoke at 325 degrees until done. Don't overcook.
