Recipe: Calf Liver and Bacon Kabobs

- 2 pounds calf liver
- ½ pound bacon
- ½ cup melted butter
- 1 cup dry bread crumbs
- Cut bacon and liver into 1-inch pieces
- Fry bacon a couple minutes
- Alternate bacon and liver pieces on skewers.
- Brush skewers with butter and roll in bread crumbs.
- Smoke at 325 degrees until done. Don’t overcook.
